Founded in 1999, the Newport Beach Film Festival has evolved into an prestigious multicultural event, attracting over 40,000 attendees. 	Tell-a-friend Very Special Arts of California at Orange County VSA is an international nonprofit organization founded in 1974 by Ambassador Jean Kennedy Smith. VSA is creating a society where people with disabilities can learn through, participate in and enjoy the arts. Five million people participate in VSA arts programs every year through a network of affiliates in every state and over 60 countries worldwide. Orange County became the first VSA site in the State of California in 1976.
	Tell-a-friend Maverick Theater Maverick Theater presents live stage productions in an art deco-inspired setting. It opened in 2002 beginning with Brian Newell's, original multimedia musical The King.
	Tell-a-friend Laguna Playhouse Youth Theatre From its earliest days, the Playhouse has recognized the value of offering plays for young audiences on their mainstage. In the 1980s this commitment was formalized into a popular program called The Laguna Playhouse Youth Theatre. The Laguna Playhouse Youth Theatre caters primarily to children of elementary and middle school age. These may be existing plays or musicals based upon well-known, popular books or stories. They also commission new stage adaptations.
	Tell-a-friend One Performing Arts One Performing Arts is dedicated to creating a bridge between the arts and the communities. Their purpose is to provide ONE space to foster an appreciation of dance and the arts, by providing meaningful creative art experiences.
