SoCal Ballet Scene - Swan Lake & contemporary works

The SoCal Ballet Scene returns with their signature annual Ballet Festival celebrating Southern California’s dance community. This curated program brings together professional dancers who live and work across the region, performing a dynamic range of bold contemporary works and classical ballet excerpts. Featured guest companies this year include Anaheim Ballet, The Realm Company, and Luminario Ballet.

The festival also features highlights from Swan Lake, set to Tchaikovsky’s iconic score. This condensed presentation captures the essence of the full ballet, from the grandeur of the palace scenes to the poetic White Swan pas de deux, the sweeping formations of the swan corps de ballet, and the thrilling virtuosity of the Black Swan. Esteemed guest artists include:

Alexander Romanchikov, former soloist Mariinsky Ballet
Matisse Love, former soloist Russian State Ballet Theatre

The festival performance will also include special appearances by aerial performers and soprano Diana Farrell.
