The Beauty of Connections Through Hope and Innovation was created by Caroline Geys for the City of Hope Orange County.
This mural is inspired by connections of innovation, resilience and community that we carry with us every day. The organic shapes and shades of colors emulate optimism and hope that illuminate new paths forward. The mural becomes a celebration of creativity, discovery and the power of bright ideas.
Belgian-born and based in Los Angeles’ Arts District, Caroline Geys is a multidisciplinary artist whose work moves fluidly between muralism, fine art and vector digital art. Her practice is driven by an exploration of optimism, color and the interplay between natural and built environments, often referencing topography, nostalgia and architectural form. Working across multiple mediums simultaneously, she brings a dynamic sense of momentum to her work. Within this project, her compositions evoke a layered evolving landscape shaped by both memory and possibility.
“Hope is a Rising Tide,” is a large-scale public art installation presented by City of Hope Orange County in partnership with Lido Marina Village. This outdoor gallery transforms the destination’s parking structure into a vibrant, walkable art experience featuring works from from 11 Southern California artists, including one cancer survivor.
