Theatre Kids: Mini Musicals

Step into the spotlight and discover the magic of musical theatre! In this exciting and imaginative class, young performers will explore the fundamentals of acting, singing, and movement while bringing a brand-new mini production to life. Through engaging theatre games, creative storytelling, beginner improv activities, and age-appropriate performance exercises, students will build confidence, creativity, focus, and teamwork in a fun and supportive environment.

Throughout the session, students will rehearse excerpts from beloved plays, musicals, movies, or original musical revues while learning essential theatre skills such as stage directions, theatre terminology, projection, articulation, audience awareness, and basic stage etiquette. Simple costumes, songs, choreography, and speaking lines help students experience the joy of performing while encouraging self-expression and collaboration.

Each class is designed to nurture creativity while helping young actors develop communication skills, listening skills, and stage presence in a positive, encouraging atmosphere. Whether your child is brand new to theatre or already loves performing, this class offers the perfect introduction to the performing arts.

Please Note: Conservatory classes are closed to outside observation to help maintain student focus and minimize distractions. Parents and guardians are kindly asked to wait in the lobby or return at the end of class. If you have any questions or concerns, please speak with the instructor.
