Watercolor Conversations — A Collaborative Painting Experience in Costa Mesa - (3/26)

In this immersive Art Lab session, artist and facilitator Kacie Lyn Martinez invites you into a creative experiment where watercolor becomes a language of collaboration and surprise.

Throughout the evening, you’ll continuously exchange paintings with others, each person adding color, marks, and movement to one another’s work. What begins as individual exploration transforms into polyvocal art—pieces layered with the presence and expression of everyone who showed up.

You’ll learn simple watercolor techniques to play and experiment with, but the real magic lies in responding to the moment—letting go of perfectionism, staying present, and allowing yourself to be carried by the collective creative flow.

A set of shared watercolor paintings infused with collective creativity

Hands-on watercolor techniques you can continue exploring
