Irish Dance Drama (for grades 3-5): In a creative combination of dance and drama, students learn to fuse theatrical techniques with traditional Irish dance and Celtic folktales creating truly unique performance pieces rich in Ireland’s cultural and artistic traditions. Throughout this residency students will develop skills in literacy, cultural awareness, creative expression, physical movement and dramatic performance.

Traditional, Rhythmic and Creative Irish Dance (for grades K-12): Learn the basic steps in the Reel and Jig dance. Create an original dance phrase with a partner from an assortment of Irish foot moves. Students also explore Celtic art and Ireland’s geography giving them a variety of access points into this lively culture.
