Will and Company Workshops

After the Show (for grades 1-12): Supplement a Will and Company performance with an in-depth session highlighting the creation of the literary adaptation. From acting to directing and costuming, these interactive workshops offer students an opportunity to get on their feet and try out acting.

Creating Staged Pictures (for grades 3-12): Create a series of staged pictures presenting beginning, middle and end tableaus of a story using facial expression, body position and gesture.

Introduction to a Classic (for grades 1-12): Provide an introduction to one of Will and Company’s classic tales before the assembly with an interactive workshop by a costumed actor who will familiarize students with the story, characters, themes and historical time period of the piece.

Masks (for grades 1-12): Explore movement and develop character using a variety of masks.
